FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have signed forward Shuma Sasaki to a one-year professional contract for the remainder of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, with a club option for the 2027 season.

Shuma Sasaki is a 23-year-old, 5’8, 163lb forward from Kawasaki, Japan.

Sasaki joins New England after a four-year collegiate career spanning across two NCAA Division I universities. He began his career with University of the Cumberlands (2021-2024). He then joined Michigan University (2025) as a graduate student. He now joins New England Revolution II (2026 – present) as his first professional club.

In total collegiate club numbers, the forward has 84 games played (77 starts, 6,096 minutes played) with 15 goals & 27 assists.

Sasaki joins a New England Revolution II defender group that features Malcolm Fry, Jayden Da, Sharod George, Myles Morgan, Cristiano Olivera, Cristiano Carlos, & Carlos Zambrano

Pablo Moreira and the New England Revolution II (2-2-0, 10 pts.) remain home to face Eastern Conference side Red Bull New York II (2-2-0, 8 pts.).
