England announce squad for New Zealand: Bairstow dropped, four uncapped players called up

Jonny Bairstow has been left out of England’s Test Match squad for the series this winter in New Zealand.

The Yorkshire man has averaged just 20.25 in Tests this year, which has caused for him to be dropped from the squad all together, with Jos Buttler set to take the gloves this winter.

Surrey’s Ollie Pope also returns to the squad after playing two matches last summer, and could take the gloves if something was to happen to Buttler.
