Bournemouth are announced deals to sign Liverpool pair Nathaniel Clyne and Dominic Solanke.
Former Southampton full-back Clyne moves to the Vitality Stadium on a loan deal whilst it is understood the permanent move for Solanke is valued around £19 million.
Clyne has only mustered five appearances for the reds so far this season with Trent Alexander-Arnold now firmly first choice under Jurgen Klopp. Joe Gomez and James Milner also seem to be in front of Clyne for a start at right-back forcing the 27-year-old to seek minutes elsewhere.
Since his move from the Saints in 2012, Clyne has made over 100 appearances at the Merseyside club but has been muscled out of the side by the emerging Alexander-Arnold.
Dominic Solanke arrived on a tribunal fee from Chelsea in the summer of 2017 but failed to make an impact on the Liverpool starting XI. The young forward only made five Premier League starts with just one goal to his name.
The 21-year-old will hope that under the guidance of Eddie Howe he can fulfill his promise and as he look to a regular starting berth at a Premier League club.
The arrival of Solanke could well spell the end of Callum Wilson’s time at the south-coast club with reports that the striker is in talks with Chelsea over a potential move.
Wilson’s loss would certainly be felt by Howe’s side as the recently capped England international has netted nine goals so far in the Premier League this season.
It remains to seen whether either player will be registered in time to play in their FA Cup fixture against Brighton tomorrow.
