FC Dallas 1-1 St. Louis City SC

FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas missed out on a chance to go third in the Western Conference after being held 1-1 by St. Louis City SC. As a result, FCD left Saturday in seventh in the West.

Michael Collodi made a couple saves in the first half to keep STL off the score sheet. It led to FCD going ahead three minutes into the second half after Petar Musa took away a ball in midfield and fed Louicius Deedson for the finish.

However, STL would equalize in the 61st minute following a set piece. Daniel Edelman found runners approaching for a cross and Timo Baumgartl would get on the end and put the visitors on terms. Both teams had chances late to get the three points, but both Collodi and Roman Burki came big for their respective teams and it would be honors even at the end.

St. Louis has an Open Cup match with FC Tulsa at home on Wednesday (7pm CT, YouTube) before going to Seattle on Saturday in league play (8:30pm CT, Apple TV). Dallas hosts LA Galaxy in the league on Saturday (7:30pm CT, Apple TV).
