Richie Williams WILL NOT RETURN after New England Revolution II announce 2025 end of season roster decisions

FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have announced their end-of-season roster decisions ahead of the 2026 campaign.

The following two players are under contract:

Midfielder Cristiano Oliveira & defender Chris Mbaï-Assem

The team has exercised the contract options on three players:

Defender Gabe Dahlin, midfielder Joe Buck, and forward Sharod George

The team has re-signed two players:

Goalkeeper JD Gunn & forward Jayden Da

The team has declined the contract options of 2 players:

Forwards Damorney Hutchinson & Michael Tsicoulias

The following seven players are out of contract at the end of the 2025 campaign:

Goalkeeper Max Weinstein, defenders Hesron Barry & Victor Souza, midfielder Gevork Diarbian, along with forwards Marcos Dias, Alex Monis, & Liam Butts.

Additionally, Revolution II Head Coach Richie Williams’s contract, which runs through the end of 2025, will not be renewed.

Richie Williams, 55, first joined the New England Revolution back in 2019 and spent his first five seasons as an assistant coach with the first team.

In 2024, he was named head coach of the club’s MLS NEXT Pro side where he posted a 18W-13D-25L record over the course of two seasons.

Revolution II finished last place (in 2024) & 4th (in 2025). They were eliminated in the first round of the 2025 MLSNP Playoffs.
