San Diego FC 0-0 Portland Timbers

SAN DIEGO, CA–CJ dos Santos finished in this game with a couple of saves after his expansion side San Diego FC became the first to clinch a spot in the postseason after a scoreless draw on Saturday night.

Still, I believe Dos Santos became the man of the hour with his two saves in each half for San Diego FC (16-7-5, 53 pts.), earning his ninth clean sheet for the season.

James Pantemis is got the starting nod for the Timbers. He had one save and got his fourth shoutout in 13 starts of the season for the Portland Timbers (10-9-8, 38 pts.).

On the expansion side, San Diego FC has set a record for a first-year club with six consecutive wins on the road, and is within four points of the record of 57 points set by Los Angeles FC in its debut season.
