Revolution reportedly interested in midfielder Bruno Praxedes

FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution have reportedly expressed interest in signing Brazilian midfielder Bruno Praxedes from Brazilian side Red Bull Bragantino.

He would occupy a U22 roster slot, an international roster slot & senior roster slot

Bruno Praxedes is a 22-year-old, 6’1, 154lb midfielder from Itaboraí, Brazil.

At the club level, Praxedes has played 166 career games (8,014 minutes) across Brazil. A product of the Fluminense FC Academy (2013-19), he began his professional career with Sport Club Internacional (2019-2021). In 2021, he was transferred to Red Bull Bragantino (2021-Present) for a club record $6,300,000 fee. Since at Red Bull, Praxedes has been sent on loan twice. He was sent to CR Vasco da Gama (2023-2024) and Athletico Paranaense (2024).

Internationally, Praxedes has six appearances (255 minutes) for the Brazilian Youth National Team. He has one career goal for Brazil (scored in a 6-0 victory over Peru U20s back in 2020).

In total career numbers, the midfielder has contributed 11 career goals, 10 assists, along with 31 yellow cards and one red card.

According to GeGlobo, they have reported that the New England Revolution are interested in signing the 22-year-old midfielder.

Leaving Athletico, Praxedes is interested in a team from the United States | Football | Ge

Praxedes is currently awaiting to find out whether or not he will be included in Red Bull Bragantino’s plans for the upcoming 2025 season.

He is currently under contract with Red Bull Bragantino until June of 2026.
