BT and ITV Sports pundit Glenn Hoddle has been able to recover at home following being released from Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest at BT Studios last October.
The former England manager collapsed and was quickly rushed to St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.
Hoddle was in a critical condition when the ambulance came that day, with sound engineer Simon Daniels having to use CPR in a move that may have saved the 61-year-old’s life.
BT Sports cancelled their Score show, which is broadcast every Saturday, the show that the former footballer was set to star on as the initial shock set in set in.
The pundit’s spokesperson said:
“Glenn received exemplary care from St Bartholomew’s. His family would like to thank the hospital staff and everyone who’s sent supportive messages.
He continued with “rest is paramount for Glenn, and his family asks politely that you respect their privacy, giving Glenn time to recover fully.”
