Dalibor Savić leaves Iraq and looks to return to management

Swedish manager Dalibor Savić has left Iraq after concluding his tenure and is now looking towards a new chapter as his coaching career takes another turn.

Savić has previously worked with players such as Viktor Gyökeres, Lucas Bergvall and Dejan Kulusevski during their developmental years in Sweden, underlining his background in developing high-level talent.

Savić’s coaching career spans more than a decade and includes roles across youth, senior and international football. He has managed clubs such as Vasalunds IF, HB Tórshavn, Europa Point FC and Täby FK, highlighting his ability to operate in competitive environments.

A particularly notable period for the Swedish manager came during his time in Gibraltar, where he guided the club to a historic fourth-place finish.

Savić is now back in Sweden following his most recent spell with Newroz SC, who are understood to be keen on the 46-year-old returning. However, Savić is currently exploring his options and is eager to make an imminent return to management.

Dalibor Savić has indicated that those interested in speaking with him can make contact via his social media channels, particularly LinkedIn.
