On the podium just after he had been re-elected, Sepp Blatter made a victory speech. Incredulity wasn’t stretched any further than Blatter has done so throughout his tenure although is use of the sentence “I am President of everyone”, caused some chuckles. It may have sounded better in the Swiss-German speaking voice in his head than it did out loud in English.
The day after his re-election to lead FIFA for another four years, Sepp Blatter held a press conference with global media members.
“I am not responsible for these people.”
In the video below (starting at the 14:40 mark), the defiant Blatter deflected any responsibility for the current scandals. The English press was harsh in questioning his involvement, but the FIFA head didn’t admit to any knowledge or take blame for the actions of others.
