Jose Romero Joins Prost Amerika World Cup Team!

Prost Amerika is delighted to announce that it will launch its World Cup coverage by welcoming back Seattle soccer writing’s favourite son, Jose Romero.

Jose Romero to Preview Mexico's Chances

Jose was the Sounders and soccer correspondent of the Seattle Times in 2009 and helped educate and inform many thousands of new fans, and old alike, as they took the journey with him in Seattle’s inaugural year in Major League Soccer.

He is now covering the baseball beat in Arizona, but we are delighted to announce that we have persuaded him to come back to his three biggest loves, Seattle, football and the Mexican national side.

Jose will be the first guest writer to preview each of the World Cup groups and he will be giving us his outlook on Group A which includes Mexico, hosts South Africa, France and Uruguay.

We will have other guest contributors who are experts in their fields, who we will announce nearer the time. But until then we are happy to welcome Jose back to the Seattle soccer community and wish him a very warm ‘bienvenido de vuelta a casa.’

Jose last featured in Seattle when he was a guest on an emotional edition of the Radio Sounders show where he talked about his year covering the new franchise in Seattle.
