Argentina delivers with a big win over Egypt

Despite being down 2-0 to Egypt, La Albiceleste came back to deliver a 3-2 win over Egypt, with goals in the 79th minute by Sergio Romero, later followed by Lionel Messi in the 83rd minute and Enzo Fernandez in the 90+3rd minute.

Egypt was leading on goals by Yaser Ibrahim in the 15th minute and later by Mostafa Zico in the 67th minute. With a commanding lead, Egypt went down in the final minutes as Argentina led the attack with Lionel Messi and company rescuing their World Cup.

Egypt had as this team had been improving everyday lead by Mohamed Salah, considered an amazing player and leading his team to what looked like an improbable win over La Albiceleste, but Argentina had a late rally to come up with the win.

Argentina overcame the odds and the deficit to deliver a big win over Egypt. Argentina will now face Switzerland on Saturday in Kansas City (8pm CT, Fox/Telemundo).
