(10) Portland Timbers (3,6,1, 10 points) vs (15) Sporting Kansas City (1,7,2, 5 points)
Saturday, May 9th, 2026 KO 7:30 PM PST/ 10:30 PM EST
Providence Park, Portland, Oregon
Portland Timbers Briefly
A rough outing in Rio Tinto for the Portland Timbers, and manager Phil Neville is looking at any cost to get his team on the winning side
But no cigar as the Timbers are third from bottom in the West, and despite their winning on the road against a depleted SDFC, the team is still looking for a win over cellar-riding SKC.
However, this team isn’t looking for anything, but they indeed are looking to get on the winning side, and with SKC in town, maybe they will get things right, but I can be a little skeptical in the end.

Sporting Kansas City Briefly
A new era in Kansas City and the road is proving to be very bumpy as Sporting KC is rooted to the bottom of the table.
Still, a few familiar faces are in SKC, but will manager Raphael Wicky make a miracle in the Midwest and get this team on the run and at least back on the right track?
Forecast
A possible showdown between these teams, looking at any cost to deliver a worthy game and move up the table.
