FC Dallas 2-1 LA Galaxy
FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas moved closer to a playoff spot with a win over LA Galaxy, 2-1, at Toyota Stadium. The win extends FCD’s unbeaten streak to eight and moved into the eighth position in the Western Conference with two matches to play.
It was the visitors, though, who went in front. Diego Fagundez scored just four minutes into the match with a rocket shot past Maarten Paes from the edge of the area. FC Dallas, though, would equalize in the 35th minute as Petar Musa would score off a rebound from close range.
Just before halftime, after a takeaway in midfield, Patrickson Delgado blasted one from outside the area past JY Marcinkowski to give FC Dallas the lead. FCD would hold on for the win and pick up three valuable points towards a playoff spot. These same two teams will meet again next Saturday in Carson. Kickoff is at 9:30pm CT/7:30pm PT on Apple TV.
