Tacoma Defiance 1-0 Portland Timbers 2
TUKWILA, WA–Tacoma Defiance made it back-to-back with a win over Portland Timbers 2, 1-0, at StarFire Sports Complex on Sunday night. Yu Tsukanome scored the game’s only goal in the 25th minute. Tsukanome pounced on the rebound after Georgi Minoungou’s initial shot was saved.
Tacoma now moves ahead of Timbers 2 in the Western Conference table. The Defiance next play on Sunday at home against Sporting Kansas City II at 7pm Pacific time. The game can be streamed on Apple TV as part of the MLS Season Pass.
