Charlotte FC is looking to bounce back in a midweek match against Inter Miami CF after a 1-0 loss to Houston Dynamo FC.
Charlotte FC is sixth in the MLS Eastern Conference with 32 points and a 9-7-5 record and scored 23 goals while allowing 21 across 21 matches this season. Inter Miami is first in the Eastern Conference with 44 points and a 13-3-5 record while scoring a league best 48 goals and allowing 30 goals in 21 matches.
Charlotte will not have to play a full strength Inter Miami team, as they will be without top goal scorers Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez as they are with their national teams for Copa América. Charlotte will have their captain, Ashley Westwood, returning after a one match suspension for yellow card accumulation.
The match is scheduled for kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, July 3 streaming on Apple TV MLS Season Pass.
