Loughborough Lightning and Surrey Storm kicked off the weekend with Lightning edging out Storm 57-54 after having to come from behind in the final quarter for the victory.
Celtic Dragons have surpassed their points total from the 2021 campaign after picking up their second victory of the season with a win over Leeds Rhinos 55-51.
Manchester Thunder stretched their lead at the top of the table after a convincing win over Strathclyde Sirens 73-51 to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
London Pulse returned back to winning ways after snatching victory from Wasps 44-38 in the closing stages of a hard fought encounter.
Before the game Wasps coach Mel Mansfield announced that she would be leaving the club at the end of the season. The club were looking to give Mansfield something to smile about after the club had lost their last three games, but Pulse thought otherwise.
In the final game of the day on Saturday, Saracens Mavericks moved back into the top four after a 58-44 victory over Severn Stars.
After back to back victories against Wasps and Dragons, Mavericks made it three wins on the bounce.
On the final day of the Spring Showdown it was Leeds Rhinos and Team Bath who got the proceedings under way.
Rhinos returned back to winning ways with a 64-54 win over Bath in a tense affair. Bath came into the contest having picked up nine points from their last three games.
Loughborough Lightning made it two wins from two in Birmingham after having to come from behind in the final quarter to edge out Celtic Dragons 64-54.
Manchester Thunder continued their one hundred per cent record in the league with an impressive 80-50 win over Surrey Storm for their biggest win of the season and the first time this campaign they have hit 80 goals.
London Pulse moved back to third in the table after with a big victory over Saracens Mavericks 53-46 in a battle of the top four sides.
In the final match of the weekend, Severn Stars beat Wasps 56-47 to end a hugely enjoyable weekend of netball in Birmingham played in front of a very large crowd for both days.
After the weekend’s action, Thunder lead the table by six points from Lightning with Pulse a further nine points back and Mavericks three clear ahead of fifth placed side Team Bath.
