OnTheGrid Podcast – Episode 23 is now available!

The 23rd episode of ‘OnTheGrid Podcast’ is now available to stream!

This new Formula 1 podcast is presented to you by Adrian Kita, Harvey Todd and special guest Ethan Evans.

In this episode, we spoke about the very controversial Abu Dhabi Grand Prix where Max Verstappen claimed the victory in the final lap of the race to secure his first Formula 1 World Championship.

As Nicholas Latifi crashed into the barrier on the exit of turn 14, the Safety Car came out and therefore bunched everyone up as Mercedes did not pit Lewis Hamilton and were therefore on the backfoot.

Red Bull pitted Verstappen and fitted the Dutchman with soft tyres as a last-lap shootout was announced by race director Michael Masi which saw the season finale end in controversial fashion.

Also included in Episode 23:

  • The two title protagonists exchanged blows as we dissect the key events of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
  • Carlos Sainz claimed an unlikely podium as another finish on the rostrum propelled the Spaniard into fifth in the final drivers’ standings.

  • A look at all the drivers during qualifying and the race as the season comes to an end.
