Jason Roy replaces Mitchell Marsh for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL

Jason Roy has signed for Sunrisers Hyderabad after Australian all rounder Mitchell Marsh due to personal reasons, allowing the England white ball opener a chance to impress at the IPL.

He links up with his ODI opening partner Jonny Bairstow who has been in sensational form of late in India and will head into the competition in fine touch.

Kane Williamson, Jason Holder, David Warner and Rashid Khan are all overseas option which the franchise may choose to go with for the tournament which is just over a week away.

Sunrisers begin their tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders on 11 April, before facing Royal Challengers Bangalore three days later.
