Worcestershire sign Nepal leg spinner for Blast

Worcestershire Rapids have completed the signing of Sandeep Lamichhane for this summer’s T20 Blast campaign.

The leg spinner from Nepal has represented several franchises from all around the world, including Delhi Daredevils.

The 20-year-old has taken 125 wickets in less than 100 games at an impressive average of 18.86 and will be keen to make a strong impression at New Road.

Fellow bowler Ben Dwarshuis has already been confirmed as an overseas player for the county this summer.

The pair are in line to make their debuts for the county in June against Nottinghamshire Outlaws at New Road.
