Worcestershire sign fast bowler Ben Dwarshuis for Blast

Worcestershire have completed the signing of Australian bowler Ben Dwarshuis for the T20 Blast this summer which kicks off in June.

The fast bowler impressed for the Sydney Sixers at the recent Big Bash where he picked up 24 wickets as they won the tournament.

The 26-year-old’s reputation continues to grow and has taken 85 wickets in the shortest form of the game to date at an average of just below 23 but has yet to be picked for Australia.

He offers the side something different with the ball being a left arm paceman and has also shown he has good ability with the bat too.

He is in line to make his Rapid’s debut in their opener at Grace Road against Nottinghamshire Outlaws on the 9th June.
