England players cleared to leave quarantine following negative tests ahead of India’ series

England’s squad have all returned negative Covid-19 results meaning they can begin their preparations for the Series against India which starts in Chennai.

The group arrived in Wednesday from Sri Lanka and will now be able to train as a full group with the additions of Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Rory Burns who all missed the previous series.

The tourists will be glad to avoid any early issues which were seen in Sri Lanka following Moeen Ali’s positive test which saw him and all-rounder Chris Woakes forced out of the entirety of the tour in Galle which England won 2-0.

The series against Virat Kohli’s side begins in the early hours of Friday morning as England’s hectic year of Test cricket continues in the sub continent.
