Bournemouth discover Crawley’ FA Cup tie date

The date of Bournemouth’s  home FA Cup tie against Crawley Town next weekend has been revealed, with the West Sussex club making the trip along the coast next Saturday, 23rd January for a 3pm kick off.

Jason Tindall’s side booked their place in the fourth round courtesy of a 4-1 win over League Two Oldham Athletic last weekend at the Vitality Stadium.

Crawley made this stage after pulling off an incredible giant killing last Sunday when they beat Premier League side Leeds United 3-0 to cause the shock of the third round to set up this tie.

The game hasn’t been selected for primary TV selection but is available to watch BT Sport Extra 2 as the Cherries look to book their place in the fifth round of the competition where they will face the winners of the all Premier League tie between Burnley and Fulham.

Tindall will be very mindful of not disrespecting the Red Devils who have already won three games to reach this stage, beating Torquay United 6-5 after extra time before beating another team above them in the football pyramid, AFC Wimbledon in the second round of the competition.
