However, the Premier League have been able to switch things around which means that Fulham will now travel to face Jose Mourinho’s men, a game which was cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to an outbreak within the Fulham squad which also saw their game against Burnley postponed.
Due to the rescheduling of fixtures, Fulham’s clash with Frank Lampard’s Chelsea which was scheduled to take place on Friday evening has also been pushed back a day and will take place at 5:30 on Saturday evening at Craven Cottage.
It faces the Cottagers with two games in four days against two of the Premier League’s big six which will provide a real challenge for Scott Parker’s side but is one which has to happen due to the postponements which have already happened for Spurs and with them going far in a number of competitions.
Villa’s clash with Everton as also been moved back from Saturday evening and will now take place on Sunday lunchtime, in hope that many of Dean Smith’s squad will be out of isolation by then and be ready to face the Toffees.
