Liverpool crowned Premier League winners

After Manchester City fell to defeat away at Chelsea this evening, Liverpool have now been crowned as Premier League champions.

The title is the first for 30 years for the Reds, having blown the competition away this season and securing the title with seven matches left to play.

Despite a three-month wait to finish off their excellent campaign and achieve their first ever Premier League title, Liverpool fans will be rejoicing this evening in their team’s success.

Jurgen Klopp’s men still have three more home fixtures to come against Aston Villa, Burnley and Chelsea although no homecoming celebrations are currently planned due to cover disruptions.
