The Bees defeated fellow championship side Stoke City 1-0 in the last round. They currently sit fifth in the league, just five points from the automatic spot. The West London side have been in relatively good form and will look to cause an upset against their Premier League opponent.
Leicester City have their eyes set on a domestic cup double this season. The foxes could book their place in the league cup final midweek but their attention will be on the FA Cup this weekend having beaten Championship strugglers Wigan 2-0 in the last round. They have lost two of their last three games but sit comfortably in third place behind Liverpool and Manchester City.
Brentford will be without Said Benrahma, whose father passed away this week. Mathias Jensen and Pontus Jannson could also miss the game having been absent in their last game against Huddersfield.
Leicester will be without Jamie Vardy who picked up a glute injury in the midweek game against West Ham. Nampalys Mendy will also miss the game due to a knee injury.
“If you don’t know about the FA Cup and you come to England as a coach then you haven’t followed football for the last I don’t know how many years.
“The FA Cup is the biggest and most important cup tournament in the world and it has been proven year after year. We are really looking forward to this game and would like to do as well as possible.”
“I’m looking forward to going because it’s their last year at Griffin Park before they move.
“I used to go there with Chelsea reserves – we paid for the changing rooms to be improved. Hopefully they’re still looking good.
“We will have a team that is very energetic and that we feel can win the game.”
The sides have only met 27 times, the last one coming in 1993 in the old League division one when Leicester won 1-3. Their last FA Cup clash came in 1947 when Leicester came out on top 0-2.
