Impressive debuts, big comebacks, and relegation six pointers. This and more in the Bundesliga matchday 18.

Borussia Dortmund seems to constantly be in a state of change. Augsburg figured they had a win on their hands and on came for his debut Erling Braut Haland and what looked to be a loss for BVB turned into a memorable 5-3 victory.

Augsburg has always been a bit of a trouble for BVB. Dortmund looked in the first half to be lost and within blinking they found themselves down in the 55th minute 3-1. Com meth the hour com meth the teenager as Haland entered the match and from there single handed turned the tide of the match. A hat-trick later and Borussia finds themselves in fourth and seven points behind leaders Leipzig.

RB Leipzig has been a team that cannot be underestimated. They’ve made enemies of many fans, especially those from the old East Germany. A come from behind win over Union Berlin shows the league that they might be down for a moment but never out.

Leipzig was helped along by the return of American Tyler Adams. His holding role has been missing for a while from RB. currently there is a lot going on for Union Berlin as they take each match in hand as a moment to save their season. There is a chance that they will survive but more interestingly Leipzig and all that they do which rubs the fans the wrong way could be made champions come end of season.

Elsewhere in the Bundesliga

FC Koln put three goals past Wolfsburg to earn their fourth consecutive victory moving them very much clear of relegation in 13th place.

Borussia Monchengladbach was looking to keep pace in the Bundesliga but a 2-0 loss away to Schalke in a top end clash means that its not a bad loss as the title is concerned.

Freiburg kept their great season going at the expense of Mainz, 2-1, who are still at risk as the relegation fight is concerned.

Werder Bremen did not let them going down to 10 men get in their way as they recorded their first win since November and have started their fight against relegation with a 1-0 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Eintracht Frankfurt went away to Hoffenheim and come back with their first victory, 2-1 over TSG, since early November.

Bayern Munich resumed their title defense in style in Berlin as they dispatched Hertha 4-0.

Bayer Leverkusen was able to dispatch Paderborn comfortably 4-1 to keep SC rooted at the bottom of the table.

Player of the Week

Erling Braut Haland: You don’t just put away a hat trick from the bench in your debut. This will be seen as an epic victory for BVB and going forward for the season.
