Hampshire Royals welcome the Essex Eagles to the south coast with both sides in desperate need of a win to keep their Vitality Blast campaign alive.

The Eagles travel to the south coast on 10 points, level with their opponents. However, the hosts boast the slightly better position, due to an increased net run-rate. As things stand, Essex find themselves two places below, in eighth position.
