USA Move up FIFA Rankings

The United States have moved up two places in the monthly FIFA Rankings to 16th in the world.

The top three of Spain, Brazil and the Netherlands remain unchanged. Portugal move up from 6th to 4th ahead of Italy and Germany who both fall one. England and France swap 7th and 8th. Croatia at 10th are the highest placed non World Cup qualifier. North Korea at 105th are the lowest placed qualifier followed by New Zealand at 79th.

Papua New Guineau are bottom at 202nd. The biggest losers are Uzbekistan who fell 20 places and Cape Verde Islands who dropped 18 places. Libya move up 15 to 101, the biggest climbers, except for Senegal who climbed a massive 22 places to 72nd.

USA’s other World Cup opponents, Algeria and Slovenia are 27th and 29th.

Canada are 64th between Iran and FYR Macedonia. Scotland are 41st, Northern Ireland 50th, and Wales 77th.
