Tacoma Defiance 4-0 Sporting Kansas City 2
TUKWILA, WA–Tacoma Defiance moved closer to a playoff spot in MLS NEXT Pro with a 4-0 win over Sporting Kansas City 2. The Defiance are seventh in the Western Conference where the top eight qualify for the playoffs. However, teams around the Defiance in the table have a match in hand. The loss eliminates Sporting KC 2 from playoff contention.
The Defiance got three goals in a span of eight minutes from Mark Bronnik (11th minute), Daniel Robles (12th), and Xavi Gnaulati (19th). Matthew Bell added a fourth in the 49th minute.
