Judah Siqueira Earns First-Team Homegrown Deal with New England Revolution

“Judah is a highly talented young player who possesses all the tools needed to succeed in MLS NEXT Pro and beyond,” Revolution Technical Director Remi Roy said following Siqueira’s signing with Revolution II. “Since joining the Revolution Academy five years ago, he has shown immense growth and a strong commitment to his development within our Pro Player Pathway. We are excited to support Judah as he takes this next step in his career with Revolution II.”

Siqueira has since made two appearances for New England’s first team in 2026, totaling 27 minutes.

Speaking after Siqueira made his MLS debut against D.C. United, Mitrović praised the midfielder’s talent, maturity, and natural understanding of the game.

“We really see Judah [Siqueira] as a high-potential player,” Mitrović said. “With Jackson Yueill and Diego Fagúndez, he is another resource that we have in the middle of the field outside of [Alhassan] Yusuf, Carles [Gil], and Brooklyn [Raines].

“That dialogue and communication between the midfielders comes organically for Judah. His understanding of the game is at a very high level, as is his technical execution. He actually fits the way we want to play very well.

“He is 17 years old, but the talent is there. Judah shows a high level of maturity, and he is a very competitive young player. I’m very happy that he got this opportunity. I know Judah is not going to take this in a bad way and put himself in sleepy mode. He will keep working, developing, improving, and growing. Great things are ahead of him.”

This season, Siqueira signed four Short-Term Agreements with the Revolution’s first team—the maximum permitted for an individual player in a single season under MLS roster rules.

MLS clubs may sign a player aged 25 or younger from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements per season. Each agreement is a four-day contract, allowing the player to spend up to 16 total days with the first team.

By signing a first-team contract, Siqueira can now remain with the senior squad while also continuing to receive playing time with Revolution II. The arrangement provides New England with greater flexibility in managing his development while keeping a highly regarded young player—one whom head coach Marko Mitrović values greatly—available to contribute at the first-team level.

Speaking after Saturday’s match against New York City FC, Revolution head coach Marko Mitrović emphasized that Siqueira’s opportunities have been earned through his consistent performances in training.

“With Judah, something that we have spoken about is that when we make our [roster]decisions, we don’t have passports in front of us [to look at ages],” Mitrović said. “Judah just does a great job day after day in training sessions. We trust Judah, and we trust his talent.

“At the end of the day, before you give those guys opportunities, you’re not going to help them. One of the ways for them to grow is to go out there—especially in games like this, against a great opponent in a tough game—and gain that experience. We fully trust Judah and every player who is in our environment, no matter how old they are.”
