Revolution Academy Prospect Makai Wells called up to United States U17 National Team

FOXBOROUGH, MA– New England Revolution Academy forward Makai Wells has been called up to the United States u17 Men’s National Team training camp.

Wells, 17, joins Head Coach Alex Aldaz’ side for the USYNT’s March training camp in Ypané, Paraguay.

The Stars & Stripes are set to conclude the March training camp in an international friendly match against Paraguay on March 28th.

In June of 2025, Wells joined New England Revolution II from Barca Residency Academy. In his final season with Barcelona, the young forward tallied 27 goals & 7 assists during the 2024-25 MLS NEXT campaign.

The former “La Masia” academy product has now appeared in multiple games for New England Revolution II across this season & last season.

In his two matches played this season, Wells scored the winning penalty kick in the shootout versus Toronto FC II (on March 1st) & tallied his first professional goal for New England Revolution II in a 2-1 victory over FC Cincinnati 2 (on March 8th).

Pablo Moreira and the New England Revolution II (1-2-0, 7 pts.) remain home to face Eastern Conference side CT United (2-0-1, 7 pts.).
