PAWTUCKET, RI– Rhode Island FC midfielder Jojea Kwizera has signed a multi-year contract extension.

Jojea Kwizera is a 26-year-old, 5’9, 154lb, midfielder from Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo
At the club level, Kwizera has appeared in 64 career games (4,649 minutes) as a midfielder for Rhode Island FC
In career numbers with Rhode Island FC, Kwizera has 5 goals & 8 assists.
Internationally, Kwizera represents Rwandan Football Federation Men’s National Team. He has received eight senior call-ups to Rwanda.
Kwizera joined Rhode Island FC in January of 2024 after a two-year stint with Canadian MLS side CF Montreal (2022-23) where he made 12 appearances (407 minutes).
Kwizera ranks seventh in club history in appearances, sixth in club history in minutes played, & is third all-time in assists.
