Seattle Seawolves 26-26 RFCLA
TUKWILA, WA–The Seattle Seawolves and RFCLA played to a 26-26 draw Friday night at Starfire Sports Complex. The Seawolves went out to a 14-0 lead before RFCLA responded with two converted tries of their own in the first half to level the score at 14-14 going to halftime. The Seawolves were again first to score a converted try in the second half, but Justus Tavai would down a ball under the posts (an automatic seven points in Major League Rugby) to level the score once again.
Divan Rossouw scored a try ten minutes from time to put Seattle ahead once again, but the conversion was missed. Jason Damm did the same for RFCLA two minutes from time, but again the conversion was missed and the match ended with each getting two points for a draw and one bonus point each for scoring four tries.
The draw helps neither team in the Western Conference table as RFCLA remain fourth on 30 points while the Seawolves remain bottom at 28. RFCLA next play at home against Anthem next Saturday (7pm, ESPN+) while the Seawolves travel to face Utah on Monday night (6pm PT, ESPN+).
