Tacoma Stars 3-4 Milwaukee Wave
KENT, WA–Milwaukee Wave won the rematch against Tacoma Stars, 4-3, at ShoWare Center. The match between the two sides was the first since the January 18th match between the sides in Milwaukee ended in a post-match brawl resulting in suspensions to three players on each side.
The contest on the Sound was a more subdued affair with just five penalties. The Wave went out to a 3-0 lead in the first half before Alex Caceres put the Stars on the board with under five minutes left in the half. Alex Sanchez made it 4-1 Milwaukee for what turned out to be the match winner as a Tacoma comeback fell short which included the Stars outshooting the Wave, 7-2, in the final quarter.
The Stars fall to 2-8-3 and in tenth in the MASL table while the Wave remain fifth at 9-3-1. The Stars host Harrisburg on Friday night at 7pm PT.
