FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution have officially hit the midway point of their 2025 MLS preseason tour in Florida.
On January 13th, the team departed for a five-week training camp based at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The team announced that they will play against MLS sides Austin FC (Tuesday, January 21st), St. Louis City SC (Saturday, January 25th), Houston Dynamo FC (Monday, February 3rd), Atlanta United FC (Saturday, February 8th) and a final game against USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies (Tuesday, February 11th).
On January 21st, the team’s played their first match (70-minute game) at IMG Academy versus Western Conference side Austin FC (11-9-14, 42 points – 10th in West last season).
After their 70-minute affair, the match ended with New England coming out victorious with a 1-0 victory.
The lone goal was scored by defender Wyatt Omsberg in the 21st minute after a cross by midfielder Carles Gil was headed on by midfielder Matt Polster.
On January 25th, the team’s second match (90-minute game) at IMG Academy was against Western Conference side St. Louis City SC (8-13-13, 37 points – 12th in West last season.
After the 90 minutes, the match resulted in a 1-0 victory for New England over St. Louis City SC.
The lone goal was scored by midfielder Alhassan Yusuf in the 18th minute after being set-up by forward Leonardo Campana. The play developed due to a high press by midfielder Matt Polster.
Their third match took place on February 3rd where New England faced Western Conference side Houston Dynamo FC (15-9-10, 54 points – 5th in West last season).
The match consisted of (4) 30-minute halves.
After the (4) 30-minute halves, the match concluded as a 3-3 draw.
The goal scorers were forward Leonardo Campana (25th minute), midfielder Alhassan Yusuf (48th minute), & Revolution II forward Marcos Dias (97th minute).
The club now has three preseason matches remaining. They will face Atlanta United FC (Saturday, February 8th) and a final game in Florida against USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies (Tuesday, February 11th). They then will return home for three days of training before they face USL Championship side Hartford Athletic (Saturday, February 25th) in their final tune-up match ahead of the 2025 MLS Season.
The matches versus Atlanta United FC (Saturday, February 8th) & Hartford Athletic (Saturday, February 15th) will be streamed.

New England Revolution (0-0-0, 0pts.) will begin the 2025 MLS Season on the road for the 30th consecutive year as they will head to Nashville, Tennessee to face Eastern Conference side Nashville SC (0-0-0, 0pts) home to Gillette Stadium to face Hartford Athletic of the USL Championship. The match is set to kickoff at Geodis Park on Saturday, February 22nd at 8:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
