SEATTLE, WA–The University of Washington not only played Northwestern in football on Saturday (Huskies won 24-5), but also on the soccer pitch on Friday night. The Huskies got their first Big Ten win on Friday with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. Peter Kingston and Nick O’Brien got the goals for the Huskies and Jadon Bowton made a penalty save in the 89th minute to preserve the clean sheet over the #20-ranked Wildcats. The Huskies are now 4-2-3 overall and 1-1-1 in the Big Ten after opening with a loss at Michigan State and draw at Michigan.
