Midweek Gallery: Washington 2-1 Seattle U.

SEATTLE, WA–The Fewing Cup is contested annually between the University of Washington Huskies and the Seattle University Redhawks. On Monday, the Huskies regained the Cup with a 2-1 win over the Redhawks at Husky Soccer Stadium. The Redhawks, who were ranked #11 in the nation were knocked off by the #24 team in the Huskies.

Washington took the lead in the ninth minute on a goal from Richie Aman off a corner kick. Seattle U. equalized at the hour mark on a corner of their own. Parity would last for nine minutes as Cooper Brunell scored what turned out to be the match winner for the Huskies.
