FCD End Winless Streak against St. Louis

FC Dallas 2-0 St. Louis CITY SC

FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas ended their five-match winless streak with a 2-0 win over St. Louis CITY SC at Toyota Stadium. St. Louis’s winless streak extends to six. This was the first match for FC Dallas after Nico Estevez was sacked as head coach and Peter Luccin was appointed interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

FC Dallas took the lead in the 28th minute after being awarded a penalty when Joachim Nilsson took down Paul Arriola in the area. Jesus Ferreira converted the spot kick. Nkosi Tafari would head in a Sebastien Llegett corner in the 81st minute to double the advantage. Maarten Paes made eight saves on the evening.
