Summer signings in the Premier League who have already set the Prem on fire

Premier League clubs have already spent almost £700million on players during the summer transfer window.

With the season in it’s early stages, there are already some big signings who have shone at the start of the season and are expected to be a huge success throughout the season.

One of the signings of the season has to be Erling Haaland from Dortmund to Manchester City. Proving a snip at only £51million, Haaland has set the Premiership alight with ten goals already in just six games.

Strong, quick and with an eye for goal, City now have a proper through the middle striker who players try to mark without much success.

Former City player Gabriel Jesus has settled in very nicely at Arsenal. The Brazilian winger was signed by the Gunners for £45million and has excelled at the North London club.

Originally signed as a replacement for Sergio Aguero, huis move down south seems to have improved an Arsenal side who were inconsistent last term.

Former City assistant manager Mikel Arteta knew what he was buying and feels that he can get5 more out of the player than Pep Guardiola ever could.

Despite Manchester United spending the summer investing heavily on players, one player the Reds signed has cost them nothing and already is proving to be one of their best players.

After a short-term deal at Brentford expired, United were quick to come in for the services of Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.

It seems strange that only one club were keen to come in for the experienced Eriksen as he returned from his cardiac arrest suffered in Euro 2020 last season, but other clubs loss appears to be United’s gain.

Eriksen is a world class playmaker with so much to offer, with United being smart to snap up the Dane.

Steadily improving Tottenham look to have come up with a bargain signing in the shape of Richarlison from Everton.

The Brazilian forward left Goodison Park for North London for a fee of £60 million, which already is looking good business.

Another club who are on the way up are Newcastle United. The Geordies have boosted their squad by another excellent summer addition with goalkeeper Nick Pope joining from Burnley for just £10 million, which in anybody books is an outstanding piece of business.

Considered to be one of the best keepers that England are lucky to have, Pope has already made crucial saves this season and must be a strong candidate to rival Jordan Pickford for the keeper’s jersey for the forthcoming World Cup later in the year.
