Richards-Everton leaves Barnet to join Yeovil Town

Defender Ben Richards-Everton has moved to Yeovil Town, signing a one-year deal with the Somerset-based squad.

The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal with National League side squad Yeovil Town following a year-and-a half with Barnet after joining The Bees in January last year.

However, following his time there, Richards-Everton has opted to join Chris Hargreaves’ Yeovil Town setup as the team look to improve on last season’s finishing position of 12th.

Speaking to YTFC.net, the defender said:

“I’m delighted to get the deal over the line and have it sorted. I’m really looking forward to the season.

“It’s been amazing (so far), the gaffer’s assembled a good team here. We’ve got a good group of lads who I’m really looking forward to working with.”

The Glovers get their season underway on Saturday 6 August when they take on Scunthorpe United, with Richards-Everton set to wear the number six shirt.
