Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos establish a partnership as Jarrod O’Connor, Muizz Mustapha and Corey Johnson sign for the Bulls

Bradford Bulls have signed three new players from Super League side Leeds Rhinos after a partnership was announced between the two rival clubs.

As part of this partnership, the Bulls and the Rhinos have established a relationship that will help promote rugby league and netball within the two cities.

Leeds and Bradford have had their fair share of heated clashes over the years. Two decades ago, both sides were the best teams in Super League, however, the Bulls’ well-documented fall from grace sees them now looking to build a team capable of returning to the top division.

Therefore, the Bulls have confirmed the signings of Jarrod O’Connor, Muizz Mustapha and Corey Johnson from the Rhinos on loan for the 2022 Betfred Championship season.

Alongside the new players joining the club, as part of the partnership, there will be a pre-season friendly fixture between the two rivals, penned in for January 23rd.

The last time the two sides met in a competitive fixture was back in 2019 when they came face-to-face at the Odsal Stadium with the Bulls coming away with a shock 24-22 victory over the Rhinos.
