Norwich look to bounce back from successive draws as they welcome Huddersfield to Carrow Road

Despite having not lost in 11 league games, the Canaries have let their form slip recently having drawn 1-1 in consecutive matches to both Blackburn and Preston.

Daniel Farke’s side still sit five points clear at the top of the Championship with a chance to extend their lead to eight thanks to a Watford slip up against Middlesbrough on Monday afternoon.

In spite of the two consecutive draws, Norwich are still in an extremely comfortable position at the top of the table with one more win all but securing promotion back to the top flight for the Norfolk outfit.

The opposition on Tuesday night have struggled to pick up any wins recently, with Huddersfield unbeaten in five games but have only secured one win in that time. The Terriers have been draw merchants of late, as they have struggled to secure victories in any of their recent games, only succeeding against QPR in March.

The clash on Tuesday will be anything but easy for the Canaries however, as Daniel Farke confirmed star winger and goalscorer against Preston Emi Buendia is a doubt ahead of the game after picking up a knock during Friday’s game:

“We had a few concerns about Emi Buendia due to a hit in the last game, but I’m carefully optimistic that he is available.”

There is however some good team news for Norwich ahead of Tuesday’s game as Farke discussed the availability of some key defenders:

“Dimitris has fully recovered and is available tomorrow, I’m optimistic Max will be too. Oliver Skipp is now ready to start.”

The visitors are set to be without Harry Toffolo, Oumar Niasse, Carel Eiting, Danny Grant and Christopher Schindler for what will be an extremely tough matchup against the league leaders on Tuesday night.
