India name three uncapped players in squad for T20 series against England

India have named a 19-man squad for the upcoming T20 series against England with three uncapped players included against Eoin Morgan’s men.

Suryakumar Yadav, , and Ishan Kishan,  and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia have all been called up for the first time as India look to kick start their preparations for the T20 World Cup later this year which they will host.

The two sides will play in a five-match series in which fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been rested with a bust schedule approaching and will commence on the April 12th.

The two teams will also meet in some ODI’s following the conclusion of the Test series which is currently locked at 1-1 with two games remaining.

India’s T20I squad: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wkt), Ishan Kishan (wkt), Yuzvendra Chahal, Varun Chakravarthy, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia, T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur.
