Warwickshire seamer signs contract extension at Edgbaston

Warwickshire seamer Olly Hannon-Dalby has signed a contract extension at the club until 2023 after impressing for the Midlands club in the past couple of seasons.

He has taken 69 wickets in the past couple of seasons in the longest form of the game to earn his new deal at an average of 23.94.

Warwickshire finished third in their Bob Willis Trophy group last season, drawing four of their five matches as failed to win a single game in the competition.

The 31-year-old moved to the club in 2013 and has played key roles in winning the T20 Blast and One Day Cup in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

The Midlands club face Derbyshire in their season opener at the begging of April at Edgbaston, in a season where the County Championship has a new look to the format.
