Bournemouth’s FA Cup tie postponed following Crawley’ Covid outbreak

Bournemouth’s fourth round FA Cup tie with Crawley Town on Saturday has been postponed following a coronavirus outbreak at the League Two club.

The Red Devils have been already been forced to postpone a league clash against Stevenage on Tuesday evening following the outbreak at the club.

John Yems’ side set up the clash with the Cherries thanks to a brilliant 3-0 win in round three against Premier League giants Leeds United.

The tie will now take place on Tuesday at the Vitality Stadium with a kick off time of 7pm with the winner set for a trip to either Burnley or Fulham who meet on Sunday afternoon.

It will provide Jason Tindall with a bit of time to work with his squad after struggling in recent weeks, having won just one of their last six in the Championship to fall to sixth.
