FA Cup 2nd Round Draw: Clubs find out their fate as they aim to reach the promised land of Round Three

Live from the BT Sport Studios in East London, former-Lincoln City and Concord Rangers boss Danny Cowley drew out the teams who were involved with the FA Cup 2nd Round draw. Here is what went on…

For Marine, they were rewarded for their victory at League Two Colchester with a home tie against Havant & Waterlooville who previously saw off Cray Valley Paper Mills whilst Canvey Island will be set to host National League side Boreham Wood who knocked out League Two side Southend United and defying the Blues from playing in a local derby with the Gulls.

For National League North side Chorley who defeated local rivals from League One Wigan Athletic 3-2 on Sunday after extra time, they have been rewarded with a trip to League One side Peterborough United.

National League side Kings Lynn Town were also rewarded for their efforts on Saturday with a trip to League One Portsmouth at their Fratton Park home. Barnet were also rewarded for Sunday’s home win over League One Burton Albion with another side from the third tier set to visit The Hive in the form of MK Dons.

There will also be an all-National League affair for a place in Round 3 as Stockport County will welcome Yeovil Town whilst fellow league side Dagenham & Redbridge will travel to League Two Mansfield Town who overcame League One Sunderland at the Stadium Of Light.

Other notable ties include National League North Darlington travelling to Bristol Rovers whilst Brackley Town will also be on the road to Tranmere Rovers.
