Fulham have confirmed the arrival of Wolves winger Ivan Cavaleiro on a season-long loan, with the option to make the deal permanent next summer.

Ivan Cavaleiro has officially joined The Whites, who announced the deal over their Twitter account:

Cavaleiro spoke to Fulham’s website about the switch:

“I’m really happy to be here and sign for Fulham. This is a big and respected club in England and through the rest of the world. Fulham has been involved in a European final, so it holds great pedigree. This is a good opportunity for me to grow as a player as well so I’m very happy to be here and I’m excited to be meeting everyone today.”

Fulham boss Scott Parker will hope the Portuguese attacker can replicate his form during Wolves’ Championship campaign in 2017/18, when the 25-year-old contributed nine goals and 12 assists as Nuno Espírito Santo’s team won the league title in convincing fashion.

Cavaleiro made over 100 appearances for Wolves after making the switch to Molineux from Monaco for a then club record £6m fee. He joins his Cottagers teammates on their pre-season tour in Portugal.

Elsewhere at Fulham, the club have announced the signing of Martell Taylor-Crossdale after the young attacker was released from west London rivals Chelsea.
