England Women name squad for SheBelieves Cup

England Women manager Phil Neville has named his squad for the SheBelieves Cup which begins later this month.

The 23-player squad has been announced for the tournament which will see England play three matches from February 27 to March 5. The Lionesses’ opponents will be Brazil, USA and Japan.

Millie Bright will not participate in the tournament due to injury with Manchester City defender Gemma Bonner taking her place. Jade Moore of Reading will also remain with her club as part of the long-term management of their planned return to full fitness.

Reading’s Fara Williams, Chioma Ubogagu and Man City forward Mel Lawley will also not be involved in the tournament.

All three matches will be broadcast live on the BBC.
