Aaron Ramsey seals Juventus switch

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has agreed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.

The Welshman will move to the Italian side for free in the summer after seeing out the rest of his contract at the Emirates.

The Welsh international, who has been capped 58 times by his country, is reportedly set to become the highest earning GB player of all-time, taking home an estimated £400,000 a week in Turin.

Ramsey is just the latest pre-contract signing by the Old Lady who are becoming the kings of the free transfer market, previously signing the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Sami Khedira and Fabio Cannavaro.

The move ends an 11-year affinity with Arsenal and the 28-year-old shared his feelings on the move through Twitter.

Ramsey has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Italian Champions after months of negotiations.

Ramsey has made 361 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 61 times since a move from Cardiff over a decade ago.

He also won the FA Cup three times with the north London side, scoring the winner in both the 2014 and 2017 finals.
